In the event of a crash, the seat rail could break, injuring the occupant. Remedy: Dealers will replace these inner front seat-rails. The manufacturer has reported that owner notification was to begin during March 2001. Owners who do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Subaru at 1-800-782-2783.
